Everyone is trying to deal with big events on the beach: Richard and Helleborine grapple with their feelings, Myrtle and Bruno help Rivulus bury an egg, Brother Juniper and the Captain need to bury Brother Paul's bones... but all this is interrupted by the unexpected arrival of The Pope.  Worlds collide and closure is more or less achieved in this, the final episode of Heretics Lost: "Judgement Day!"

"Midshipman Gable resurfaces to bring The Pope up to speed on developments with the friars.  The Pope is displeased, but comes to some surprising conclusions.  Meanwhile, Brother Bruno has a harrowing experience in the jungle, and in the process stumbles upon Rivulus in the midst of an important ritual. 

The friars deal with the loss of a dear friend and associate, and try to negotiate with Agave, the bloodthirsty leader of The Bacchae.  The negotiations are disrupted when the frightening "One True Native" of the island is distracted from his... well...

The friars search for the missing Captain on an island which they discover is populated by drunken, Bacchus-worshipping women.

Heretics Lost is a musical mini-series about a group of friars who find themselves stranded on an island of Bacchus-worshiping women.

In Episode One: A Mission and a Mutiny, The Pope sends seven eminent friars on a mission to The New World to convert the pagan masses there to Christianity.  Unfortunately, while en route, the friars get mixed up in a conflict between the authoritarian Captain and his unruly crew.
